Product Description

Starter Kit:

Use this tubing kit if you want to use your existing components.  This starter kit comes with 0.5" silicone tubing and a 0.5" MIP threaded fitting to connect with your submersible pump.  Also included are the 90 degree hose barb fittings; these help prevent kinks in the tubing as they exit the water cooler.  Easily connects to the submersible pump to your Cool Zone Fermentation Control kit.  (Please note, this kit is included in our Advanced and Premium packages.)

*Note: If your set-up requires more tubing than the 5 feet tubing the Starter Kit includes, you can add the additional length of Silicone tubing to your order and let us know in the Check Out page’s comments field to provide the tubing UNCUT.  This way you get the Starter Kit fittings and the uncut tubing.

  1. Starter kit makes cooler setup easy 5 Star Review

I went with a 30qt cooler and drilled two 3/4" holes in the lid. The 90° elbow made setup easier as it rested on top of the lid and didn't move around; even with the pump running. I recommend extra 1/2" silicon tubing if you want the fermenter farther away than 18" or so from the cooler.

The quick adapter for the 370 gph pump made the output pump connection quick and easy!

  2. Pretty darn good! 4 Star Review

Basically what I was expecting with the exception of no hose clamps. I just used zip ties and they hold nice and strong! The price seems a little high but I'm glad I got it.

  3. Quality connectors - a bit short 4 Star Review

The description for this product should state how long these hoses are. They are a bit short for reaching up into my chest freezer and back down to the floor. If I had the water reservoir on the bottom of the freezer instead of the compressor hump they would not have reached.
